Virtual Moon Atlas
A free, open-source lunar atlas and observing planner, and a great resource for studying the Moon and planning what to look at on a given night.
I contributed a macOS port of Virtual Moon Atlas, and it has been accepted into the upstream project, so Mac users can now run it alongside the existing versions.

About
I’m Aaron Henderson. I shoot the night sky from a backyard in the Raleigh area of North Carolina, mostly with a ZWO Seestar S50 Pro and an S30 Pro, and I’m working on a lunar and planetary rig and the software to control it. Lately that includes variable star observing. This site collects the observing tools and reference pages I’ve built, the images I’ve made, and the open source work I contribute to, including a macOS port of Virtual Moon Atlas.
